Changing Name display of trunks to display actual #

Good morning folks
I'm currently bench testing/setting up another IVS2 to reissue to another customer in the field, I've reinitalized the system with the Resident program and currently trying to change the display name for each of the trunk names that appear on the dterm when activated. currently when I go off hook and grab outside dial tone the display shows "DDD 1000" I would like to rename that to the actual line # as these customers are used to seeing the actual line numbers when they select each indvidual trunk I was thinking CMD 77 but not sure... I hope I've explained this properly.

Yes, Cmd 77 Y=2 or Y=3 but also check....

I'm still having difficulties getting the display to show the CO line #.
Under the resident program by default CMD3500 was >00 (DDD(CO,DID,ISDN,SIP) Trunk
I programmed CMD3500 to: >15 (not used)for all trunks, which removed the DDD display on the phone
Now only the 1000 is displayed when line key for tunk 1 is selected.

Used CMD 773>to program line # last 4 digits, however now the trunk key displays xxxx1000. (xxxx=last 4 of line #)

question How do I get the "1000" from showing on the stations display when the trunk key is selected?

Try CMD 772. It allows for 8 digits. CMD 773 allows for only 4 digits. CMD 3500 set to 15 will stop incoming calls from reaching an extension. It has to be set to something other than 15. The caller will hear ringback but it will not ring a station.

Thank you belevedere, I can change the "DDD" to whatever I want however manual trunk selection still displays the 1000 I don't believe that is part of the trunk name. here is a pic of what I'm trying to get rid of...

Check CMD 3019. That command allows you to specify a 4 digit number to each trunk in the system. That is what shows up in your LCD. Usually the last 4 digits of a pots line are placed there for ease of troubleshooting. For digital trunks there are 2 frames of thought. The first 2 digits are the sense wheel number of the digital card and the last 2 are the port on the card, or the first 2 digits are the trunk route number followed by the port number.

First time I have heard of those conventions but they are excellent and will be adopted by me in the future. Prefer the sense wheel idea myself as you could have more than a card full of trunks in a route!
