Hi,

Due to Infrastrucure changes I have to change the IP address of the SQL Server that holds the datastore database.
Will this have an impact on my Citrix Farm?

If so what config changes must I undertake to resolve any issues?

Any links or KBs?

mRgEE,
It would impact it if the SQL server did not register itself properly with DNS or WINS.

It would also impact your farm if your DSN information was pointing to an IP address versus a NetBios name.

So if you had all your Citrix servers pointing to a NetBios name "SQL Server" versus "192.x.x.x" then you should be good.

Make sure that you can resolve the NetBios to the right IP address.

Hope that helps.

Hey, My name is Daniel. If anyone knows how to change your IP address please e-mail me at dan53217@yahoo.com

Thank You!

Open your ethernet card properties and change the IP address in TCP/IP properties. Careful not to use DHCP if you want static IP address.
