Hi:
I have one user with a 2112 and I want to give him a 2116; do I just need to plug in then new phone? or do I have to do some kind of programming; also, How could I do to program my PBX (SL-1) to allow users with 2116 phones with display to see the caller ID (currently they can only see the extension # but not the outside call #)
Thanks

yes you'll need to take the 16 out and reprogram the 16, do you have access to command line, each phone will need to be changed (cls) to allow name display

Thanks John, but could you give me some instructions on how to do this? What do you mean to have access to comand line?; Yes I do have access to the PBX using the terminal if that's what you mean
Thanks again
