Hi,

I created about 1200 form fields in a PDF document, and I realized that I need to go back and rename all the fields and change the font color. Is there a search and replace tool that could do this easily? Also, is there a way I can change the properties without deleting the form data that has already been entered into the fields? Any help would be very much appreciated!!!

hi jenw3490,

As for your first question i would also like to know how to do that...

As for the second.. The easiest way i have found was to export the data to an temp FDF file, then change your properties, and finally import the data back. I hope there is an easier way though. I'll be waiting to see.

Andrew,
I think I figured it out, to some extent... You can hit Ctrl+A to select all of the form fields on any page and then doubleclick into any of the fields to make a uniform change to all. But of course, that makes all of your data disappear...But re-entering data is small potatoes next to developing carpel tunnel from manually changing font attributes in each field...

Thanks for the FDF tip.
