Changing Font Size of Form Fields in Acrobat 6.0 standard 1

Hi,

I am filling in a form using Acrobat Standard 6.0.

I need to change the font size in the form fields to a smaller size. (Change the font size of the text i am filling in) I am able to change the actual form, but this is not what I want to do.

Actually, instead of changing the font size, can I auto-scale the text so that all the info fits? how do I do this? I have tweaked all the preferences and nothing changes........very, very frustrated.

I have the same problem. When you double click the text box to edit or change the text and then highlight the text and then right click you get a window that should have "properties" listed where you can change the font, size, bold, left, center, right etc. Properties does not appear in this window. I had this on version 5?? Did they drop this teature on ver 6??? What about ver 7???

I solved my issue by using Professional 6.0 instead of Standard...one I had at work, the other at home. I don't use Standard anymore.

I wish there was another solution I could tell you...it has to do with the settings for the form field box, which are created by the document author. Why the auto-size feature is not utilized as standard practice when creating fillable forms is beyond me.

I am using the 6.0 professional version and you are right it is supose to have this feature? ....any further suggestions?

Hi Rick,
If you are using Professional 6.0 you should have the feature.
Is it a regular form or a fillable form?
Are you filling in fields or using text boxes?

If using a fillable form, select the form field and change the font size properties to "auto". Then it will auto-size the text.

If you are using text boxes in the advanced commenting toolbar, I'm not sure how to change the font. I'm trying right now and I can't figure it out. I have filled out forms this way but didn't need to change the font size. Maybe you can create fillable fields in the document with the auto-size feature. You should be able to do that with Professional.

If you figure it out, please post the results. Good luck, sorry I am not more help. I know how frustrating it is.
