changing font size in the footnotes / endnotes in wp8

trying to help out my father in law over the telephone. we have stepped him through changing font sizes on display itself, but cannot seem to find how to increase the size of the font specifically in his endnotes and footnotes. i do not have wp on any of my machines so cannot help him step through it and apparently he cannot find anything on it in the help. thanks for any help.
