Changing firmware on SPU2

HI,
I want to change firmware on SPU2 ROF 137 5416/1.
Now the board is having firmware CAA 158 0006, and it is used for voice compression.
I want to change firmware to CAA 158 0003 and use it for voice mail.
In the other words board VCU2 should become board VMU.
Is this possible?
Is there any special procedure for this?

Hello,
you can load the firmware caa158003 r13a into the hdu7 whit tcp ip protocol.
This should be renamed without special characters
es. spu2r13a.hex is correct
then send commands
CNBLI: PATH =/....., BPOS =.....;
CNBSI: BPOS =......;
CNBCI: BPOS =......;
RFBOI: BPOS =......;

P.S.:if the procedure does not run correctly you must enter the firmware from the lowest to the last
