Alright I have now decided I have no other choice but to change The DNS. I am going from name zero to dns2go. I am slightly confused as to how to change over the accounts. I have 2 seperate accounts with namezero one is mine and one is my girlfriends The each have there own set of user information but I used my own credit card to purchase em. I have been told that the two domains need to be grouped in dns2go with the same email to function properly. Is this a problem with the way I have things setup now? Second is the only thing that needs to be done through namezero is to change the conection addresses? I am a little confused about all of this and could really use some help to get through it.
thanks in advance.

Hi mate,

You must have changed the port as that is not a defualt, this is an application so the defaults are always the same.

Open the dns2go program, go to SERVICE SETTINGS > ONLINE

Select point my domain to my current IP address. Click Apply

Now, restart dns2go so that it regognises the both domains and if you have any problems, then fully explain..

Hope this helps Wullie

wullie's set up everything i have done so far so I was hoping he could help see it through since he's done allot for me that I just plain don't understand

I do have it set to the default point to current ip address and have reset the defaults using the restore option. The 2 sites are not coming up however. I am not sure exactly whats up but is up and going the second comes up as page cannot be displayed error. I thought it may be a virtual host issue but I don't know

res://G:\WINDOWS\System32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#
this is the error url i get when checking properties on the second page. I have no idea why it's set to 8080 though

this is the error i get when doing that and trying to change the port to 80 instead of 8080

The following Error(s) occurred:
You are attempting to redirect web requests to the standard HTTP port
If you are running a web server on port 80 then web redirection is not necessary
Please either do not use web redirection or specify a non-standard HTTP port

alright I don't see that what i have under the advanced options is

url cloaking for redirection
current status on
enable url cloaking yes or no yes is checked by default

web redirect settings
a.no online redirecting selected by default
b.to my current ip address on port or
c.to this url:

web client offline settings
a. Send the visitor a web page that tells them I am offline check by default
b.set my ip address to:
c.retain online settings

disreguard that last post it was under dns2go web client and is set to point to current ip and they are both grouped. Yet the page still does not come up

There is no place to update the port other than in the redirect section. The only other option is to add it to my ip address in the use current ip address section. It currently does not specify a port there just the ip 65.32.227.13 should i add the :80 to the end of the ip?

are we talking the advanced section of the program or on the dns2go site?
