Changing Directory in Merlin Mail 1

I am trying to figure out how to change our directory in our VM system. I have Merlin Mail release 3. With previous phone systems I have worked with it was changed on each persons extension VM but I am not seeing a prompt to add or change the directory listing in the VM.

Get into mailbox admin (choice 4), select 6 to modify, eneter ext number you want to modify, press 1 to modify the mailbox name, enter the 2-digit letter codes and press# - then *# to accept.

I followed your instructions but once I get to entering the 2 digit letter code it tells me that it is invalid.

are you dialing the correct 2-digit codes for each letter? You can only enter up to 4 letters total. For example: JOHN - would be entered: 51-63-42-62
