Short and sweet. Is it possible to change from one data base to another within access macros or in a command button?

Do you mean you want to close the mdb file you are in and open a different mdb file?

Sorry I should have been more specific. I want to create command buttons or directory list to allow a user to choose which mdb (form)to open. Each mdb is in a different directory.

What's wrong with desktop shortcuts? Put them all into a desktop folder if you want them grouped together.
