Anyone know how to change the default folder settings on nt4, ie change to list view in all folders???

with or without the desktop update? without it, seems to keep whatever you set currently for all folders. Haven't got an NT4 with desktop update running at the moment.

%windir%\explorer.exe /e, /root, "wherever you want" might work

With desktop update the following works for us. Open Control Panel and set up the view settings you want. This view will now take effect whenever you open a specific area in NT Explorer for the first time, however, what areas you have visited previously will need reset. In all of our new setups we set up Control Panel view settings before doing anything else - this makes for good standardization. Hope this helps.
