Hi All,

I have to change the datasourse (server) of a command object. i tried Set datasourse location, i can change datasourse location of Views, stored procedures, tables but cannot do that of command objects. I cannot just delete the command and create from the new datasourse bcs there are groups, fieldz, summries on the report. Please advise me ...

If you select the command object and go to set datasource location. Then click the + next to Properties of the datasource. It should have an entry that says Service and then the name of your datasource. If you select this, right click and then select Edit you can change the name of the datasource you are going against. It should then prompt you for a login to the new datasource. I know this works for Oracle within Crystal Reports 10 anyway.
