Hi,

I have a question about the database option in CMS. We have around 400 reports and we are in testing right now. We have 3-4 different environments for testing. I have created folders in CMS for environment. I want to know if there is a way to change the database options for all the 400 reports at once without having to go through each of them. Thanks.

I'll assume that you are speaking of Crystal Enterprise, and a recent version. Please remember to at least post your software version when requesting technical inforamtion, it's the first thing any technical person will ask you.

Check out APOS tools Info Scheduler (as well as their other tools, they even have some useful freeware):

Hi,
The Schedule Manager tool from the Admin Launchpad can change all the datasources in any folder..It is folder by folder, however, not global.

Sorry for not being specific. We are using Crystal XI. Thanks so much. It solved my problem. I have another question on scheduling with events.

Is it possible to change all reports (without having to schedule each seperately) in a folder to trigger on one particluar schedule event?

Also, if i change a report after it is scheduled on the server and i save it on Enterprise again, should i delete the previos schedule and create a new schedule for the changes to reflect?

Thanks.
