Can someone please tell me if you can change the base angle on an existing drawing?

Right now 0 is facing east and I want it north.

Thanks for the help.

Hi TechnicalLoser,

Type in "ANGBASE" at the command line (no quotes, and it's not case sensitive), and change it to whatever you need.

Great, thank you. Now how do you change it from calculating angle from counter-clockwise to clockwise.

Thanks for your help.

First try searching your autoCAD help file.

I searched for angbase to see exactly what it does. just below it was listed...
ANGDIR to set the positive direction of angles.

Thank you all for the help. Stumbled through the help file for half an hour and unless you know the name of the command you need I find it is useless. Thank you all for your help.

yes. The help menu is difficult to navigate.
Whe ever you looking for something that will affect the program globally the command is likely all capital letters.

glad you found what you needed.
