I have an IP Office with Embedded Voice Mail setup. I currently have the Auto Attendant set to run a Day time and Night time greeting. I also was able to setup Holiday Greetings. This all works great with the Time Profile. My question is for those times when the office is closed due to weather or something. I have a "Emergency" greeting setup on ID 06, is there a shortcode I can setup that will turn that "Emergency" greeting on to override the "Day" or "Night"?

I know with VoicePro it is easy *I have one working with it*, but that is not an option.

Thanks,

you can create a shortcode that forwards to the emergency AA. you have to have a phantom user that forwards all, including hunt group calls to the shortcode.
you have to create a hunt group that has the phantom as the only user, vmail off, queueing off.
this group is the out of service group for your main group. create a btn at reception to set the main group out of service, enabling the emergency AA. it is a bit of work, but it works.

So I am sure I understand this.

Build short code

Code *99 (or whatever)
Feature Auto Attendant
Telephone Number AA:EmergencyAA

Build a Phantom user Office Closed.
Use an Extension that isn't used
I don't need an H323 or Sips
Forward everything Unconditionally to *99

Setup a Hunt-group with Office Closed Phantom User in it
(VM and Queuing off)

This much I am with you on.
But how do I set this if I am out of the office. I am not sure how to set the main group out of service and activate the office Closed group.

Thank you for all your help so far! I am close now,

Route the calls to the Day auto attendant by sending them to a sequential hunt group (Call this "DayAA" with a single phantom member that is forwarded including hunt group calls to a short code that points to the Day auto attendant.

Create a new sequential hunt group for "Emergency Closure", with a different phantom user forwarded to a short code that points to the Emergency auto attendant

Create a shortcode to place the "DayAA" hunt group out of service, and in the actual Day AA, make one of the selector codes transfer to this shortcode. (You can hide it behind some additional auto attendants, so that you have to dial a specific sequence to finally reach the selector code that puts the hunt group out of service)

Finally, make the "Emergency Closure" hunt group the out-of-service fallback group for the "DayAA" hunt group.
