I NEED TO CHANGE THE ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD BECAUSE A FEW PEOPLE KNOW IT .
IS IT AS SIMPLE AS JUST CHANGING IT IN THE USER MANAGER FOR DOMAIN, OR WILL EVERYTHING BE EFFECTED. I'M WORRIED THAT EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN INSTALLED UNDER ADMIN WILL NEED TO BE UNINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED.
WHAT THINGS DO I NEED TO LOOK INTO BEFOR DOING THIS? I THINK THAT IT SHOULD BE JUST CHANGING IT BUT THAT SEEMS TO EASY AND STRESSFUL.
PLEASE HELP.
SCARED LISA

You can change the admininstrator password without worrying about reloading everything. The settings are in the profile which is not altered by changing the password.

You can change the administrator password by logging on as administrator then press ctrl, alt, del and choose change password. Enter the old password then TAB to new password enter and then TAB to confirm. PLEASE tab between the fields.

After changing the password log out and then log back in and everything will be fine.

You can also do it this way:
Go to Start/Administrative Tools/User Manager. Double click on Administrator in the "Username" box (not the "Gruops" box). Now a "User Properties" box comes up. You will see two password boxes where you can change the Administrator password.
