Is there any way to change what information is displayed in the display of digital equipment? For example, I have a Dialog 3212 which now shows:
17:11 Apr07 2003
317

I want to be able to choose what is shown in this window of the equipment. One thing might be to see last called number.

Also, I'm not IS/IT Management. I chose the wrong line. How do I change it?

Do you mean changing dateformat or time as pm/am instead of 24h ?

No, the date is fine. I want to display more info in the window. On the second line, where it only says "317" (my extension) now, I would like it to say for example "[last called number] 317". Can I somehow set what info is shown in the window?

For Date format , use ASPAC:pARNUM=62,PARVAL=0 or 1
where 0 means DDMMYY and 1 means MMDDYY.

For Time format , use ASPAC:pARNUM=101,PARVAL=0 or 1
where 0 means 12 hours clock and 1 means 24 hours clock.

Last called number is not displayed in the window, it may redialled by using ***.
You may put your name in front of the number 317.

Name is given by NIINI:DIR=317,NAME1="Mr",NAME2="PETTSON",NAMDB=YES;

The NAMDB=YES puts the name into a directory database which may be searched through by pushing putton to the right under the display.

Hi

You can also change the IDLE state text with KSTSC command. IDLE1 is for digital phones with a 3 line display and IDL12 is for phone with a 2 line display. This would normaly display the company name etc since this is system wide.

To Print the IDLE State text…
KSTSP:STRNO=IDL1&&IDL15;

To Change…
KSTSC:STRNO=IDL1,STRING=”Hello World”;

Note the MD has a default LANG, you can change the LANG for an extension (EXCAC etc) or switch the system default via ASPAC.
