Change Variables Invalid Command

Hi.

I am trying to write a vector that will use a global variable. Howeever, whenever I type the Change Variables command, it tells me it is invalid. Even if I type changeand then press F5, variables is not in the list.

Do you have to set up an initial variables table first?

I am using CM 6.3

probably your profile and what you're allowed. Or, maybe it's a function of advanced vectoring and you need expert agent selection. If you login the webpage and check your account, are you prof18? If so, I suspect you might not have any EAS agents licensed. If I recall correctly, 1 call center agent unlocks all the advanced vectoring functions.

At the moment, we haven't got any call centre elements set up. I have programmed a few vectors, but I am looking to have an on-call rota set up, why by users could call a VDN and the idea was that they could set a variable based on the digit they entered once in the script.

Users would then dial another VDN, and the call would progress through to the relevant persoon who was on the rota, as had been set by the first VDN.

I hope that makes sense!

Is it the case that you can't use variables unless you are using the call centre software?

I have checked on the system and the Vectoring (Variables) is set to n.

I assume this is something that the system maintainers would need to change, as I can't see the option when I type change system-parameters?
 
You can't change system-parameters customer-options. Check how many elite agents you have licensed - most likely 0. Ask your BP what it would take to get advanced vectoring for your release if you really need it. I believe it opens up when you buy elite agents, so 1 agent could be enough. Could be wrong, but it might only be a few hundred bucks if that's the case.
