I created a user account that I NEVER contemplated using for email and I used the SBS 2003 Add User Wizard to create it that way.

However, customer now requires that this account also have email capability.

What's the simplest way to ADD the stuff to the user account needed for Exchange?

I COULD simply remove the user account and then re-create it, this time WITH email capability. That's not out of the question. But is there a simpler, less-destructive way?

Hi.

Do you mean you want to provide a mailbox for the user?

If so open Active Directory Users and Computers from the admin tools menu.

Once there find the user you want to add a mailbox for and right click on the user object.

On the context menu that appears select Exchange Tasks. From there the exchange task wizard will start. Click next and in teh next screen make sure "Create Mailbox" is selected and then click next. On the next screen click next again. The mailbox will then be created. Click finish and you're done.

It may take a few minutes for the mail address to appear on the user object but be patient.

If that's not what you're after post back.

Cheers
