This command is in my global settings under Serial0/0. I use the first 4 channles of the t1 for inernet access.

I need to change the timslots for my serial0/0.2 to 21-24 for my private frame connection, I tried the channel-group command but does not work. DOES ANYONE HAVE THE ANSWER?

go into serial0/0.2 and type
Service-module T1 timeslot 1-24 J.Fisher CCNA

Does not work get the carrot symbol over Service-module.

You can't change the timeslots for a sub-interface. You have to go into serial0/0, and then type "service-module T1 timeslot 21-24".

The channels are used by the T1 line NOT the frame-relay circuit. This means that if you have a frame-relay circuit defined under serial0/0.1 that is working, you probably don't need to change the channel configuration.

I hope this helps!

I cut and paste that sorry ! int serial 2 where the span is needs to be setup. Service-module T1 timeslot 1-24. J.Fisher CCNA
