I was told to create a ACDN with the ext of 2249 which I did. However it has been decided that they would like that ext to be the same as the department main ext. 3249. My questions is how can you change the ACD ext of 2249 to 3249.I would appreciate any help that I can get.

You can't change it, just out that one and make a new one.

Sorry about the last post, I didn't stop to think about it first. You can't have an EXT number on a phone and an ACDN route with the same number. I'm assuming that you mean Ext 3249 appears on a phone and you made a ACD route ACDN 2249 in ld 23. Is that correct?

Yes. Currently there is a phone with the ext 3249 but I can make this ext available by changing the DN 3249 to some other ext. Then I wanted to change the ACDN 2249 to 3249.
If I can't change the ACDN ID or ext, is there a way for 3249 to automatically goto 2249?

Out 2249 and rebuild as 3249. If you have agents assigned to this que - Build the new que 3249 and then change the agents key 0 to the new que. You will have to null key 0 first or also assign a new position ID.

or - build 3249 and set ncfw to 2249. as long as no agents are assigned or logged in, call to 3249 will go to 2249.
