change text color subform on main form

I have a subform, change text color, but on the n=main form with this sub form, the text color not change. How do I change text color and background color. Thanks

Forms!frmMain.FormHeader.BackColor = vbGreen
Forms!frmMain.FormFooter.BackColor = vbYellow
Forms!frmMain.Detail.BackColor = vbWhite
