To All,

I would like to manage the system sound of different computers from one central place. I thougt of creating a batchfile in which the settings are set, so I can distribute it via logonscript. Is this possible and how?

I want to change the volume on those machines

I am a sys admin and addictive practical joker. I would turn the volume up full, deafen everyone and get the sack. Please don't tell me how to do this for I value my job and at 93 I wouldn't get another as well paid.

Set all volume controls to the levels you want.

Using regedt32, export this key to a file:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\.Default\.Default

You can either use the Win2k SDK reg.exe tool to completely batch the properties of the above file, or just create a .bat file in the startup directory for all users that calls the .reg file above.

euston,

Just tell them at 93 you have to set the volume that load in order to hear anything at all.
