We have a problem with changing a station type to an alias for EC500 use
Customer has server S8270(soft 4.0) with G650 cabinets, one cabinet has been removed and the customer wants to use the station that were on this cabinet (digital) for use withe EC500.
For these stations there is made an alias for the EC500 (Nokia)
With most of the stations we can change station type to this alias but some give an error when trying to change (“object in use please try later” ) already checked usage station.
When i try to busy out this station i get the error “EPN is not available”
What need i to do to get the station type changed ?

Put the cabinet back in with all associated hardware then remove all translations associated with cabinet. You can X port the stations.

'Knows enough to be dangerous. Wait... make that really dangerous.'

Object in Use is a station or button status issue.
You can do a reset system 3 which will reload the translations and all status on these stations will clear.

X port station doesn't work, same error “object in use please try later”

Think I will do the system reset.

System reset solved the problem, after reset the station type can be changed.
Thanks
