hi all, I have an extension that doesn't seem to exist anywhere. It is not a hunt group, no coverage path issues, but when I call extension 8757 it rings to Ext 7117.

If I do cha sta 8757 it opens ext 7117.

any ideas?

It sounds like its a VDN.
Try this: list extension-type 8757. That should tell you what type of extension it is.

change station 7117 and change station 8757
If both bring up the same station, you have software corruption.

@AvayaTier3 that is exactly what happens, and what I was leaning to.. Thanks

when i do a list extension-type 8757 is shows the extension as an extension.. the extension doesn't exist and when i do a list extension-type 7117 it shows me the EXACT same information(except for extension)...

When I do a change station on 8757 it brings up station 7117.. I was thinking it was software corruption/bug but I didn't wanna jump the gun.
