Change port settings on MedPro board

I have a MedPro board that is currently set to auto-neg. I want to change it to 100/Full. I disabled ethernet under "cha ip-i" but when I try to "cha ether" the switch responds: "Use the change/display ip-interface or list ethernet-options commands instead". However, I cannot tab over to change the settings under the "cha ip-i" form....what am I missing?

I have an S8700 running CM2.2.

go to change ethe This is probably how your version works. the 3. does it a little different.

It should be found under your "cha ip-interface xxxx " menu screen.

I've tried doing a change ether...see initial post. Here is the screen when doing a change ip-i:

Did the old medpro's support 100 full? Not sure, I thought there was a theard a few months ago about this topic. If you list config all, is the board a TN2303AP? Whats the HW version?

I have a TN2302AP HV3 with ability to change negotiation.

You may need to update the firmware. When I first got this board, I couldn't change the negotiation. I updated firmware to FW93, the highest you can go on HV3, and now have the option to change negotiation.

Check the LAN adapter on the back of the MedPro slot. I've ben told that the grey adapters only do 10/half. You need one of the black adapters to run 100/full.

I think 84Mike has the answer. There was a thread from a few months ago and the guy had the same issue. And as Mike said, upgrade the firmware first, then you will be able to change it to 100/full.

Thanks guys...I will let you know tomorrow. I am updating the firmware on the board in the am.

That was it...upgraded to the latest firmware and was then able to change the port settings in the "change ip-interface" form.
