Change permissions on Registry key through Group Policy? 1

I need to change the permissions for Everyone to Full Control for the following key:

HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Svchost

I have a Windows 2000 Server DC and a mix of XP SP3 clients

Does anyone know the easiest way to do this?

Can you do anything with the SubInAcl Command of which this is just an example?


subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=administrators=f

SubInACL (SubInACL.exe)

Perhaps something along these lines with the implementation via a login script?

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Svchost /grant=everyone=f
