I'm hoping someone can help me with one problem I've run into. I can't figure out how to change the Mailbox Owner's Name Greeting that is recorded when a mailbox is first initialized?

e.g. Joe Blow extension 333

Usually, I just delete the mailbox and create a new one thus forcing the new user to record a new name greeting for the mailbox.

Well, the problem is a temp receptionist we hired decided to record her name for the General Delivery mailbox (it was previously blank) and now I can't get rid of it!

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks,

Michael M

what mail system do you have,,?
if MerMail then dial into the mailbox
enter the General Delivery extension number and choose delete or re-record Colin

In MerMail under the User Administration you can change the Class Of Service. Set this to personal and go to the option More Details (in Europe this is F3). Set the Persnoal Verification Changeable by User to YES and save the file.
