Hi all,

Our CIO would like us to change the outbound access code from 9 to 8; We currently hit 9 to access an outside line. What I would like to do is mirror the setting/setup of access code 9; but use 8. Once I verify everything is working, deactivate access code 9 (not delete). I saw where 9 is setup in Assistant, but when I tried to copied the same setting for 8; I get an error. Can anyone assist?

Thanks

ADD-WABE:8,,,TIE,N;
REG-LDPLN;
ADD-LDPLN (Copy in the LDPLN using 8- instead of the 9-
DIS-LDPLN:CD; see what LDPLN's are using 9 for a line then delete them carefully
DEL-WABE:CD,9,,,TIE;

Thank you. I will try it on Monday and report back.

HI, I see that we already have some stations in the 8000 range, I would like to either delete or move them -

would it be wise to try del-wabe:cd,8000,,,STN;

The [R] means that number is not in use, so you should be able to delete everything that is in there assuming there is nothing we don't see here. Otherwise you can delete 8000 and 8180&&8352

If you filtered your display or did not display all of 8000&&8999 then be careful to make sure there aren't any extensions built in that range. The whol K-block needs to be free to take it out of service to use as a dialing code.
