I'm looking for a little help on setting up the "operator" for a specific extension in StartTalk Flash 4.

Currently, whenever a caller presses '0' while in StarTalk, their call is re-directed to our main switchboard (ext. 200). However, there are a few phones that I would like to re-direct to a different extension if the caller presses '0'.

For example, if a caller dials ext. 215 and then presses '0', I would like the call to be transferred to ext. 211, not ext. 200.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

program target attendant for that extension
login to that mailbox
option 8 for mailbox options
option 5 for assign target attendant

Thanks for your prompt reply, however, I can't seem to access "option 5" to get to the target attendant.

I can login to the mailbox, press 8 (ADMIN) and when I press 5 I get the message: INVALID KEY.

If I press 6, I get the off-premise notification; 7 allows me to change the password, but 5 doesn't do anything.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Dave

Thanks, motleyhawk.

Do you have any ideas on how else I might be able to accomplish this, or am I out-of-luck?

-Dave
