I am new to this whole PBX administration deal but I am catching up pretty quick. However I can't find any answers for this simple question. I am running Meridian 1 and CallPilot Opt11C. All our phones go to voicemail after 5 rings. I want 2 of the phones to go to voicemail after 1 or 2 rings (but not immediatly).

Can anyone help me figure this out?
Thanks in advance.

when you print this you will see the cfn settings.

The cfn0,cfn1,cfn2 settings are equal to the rco0,rco1,rco2 settings when you build a phjone. RCO is ringing cycle options.

After prt it prompts me for TYPE? What do I put in there?

Also when I did ld 20 --> prt --> tnb --> and showed info for my TN it showed rco 0. What does that mean and how do I change it?

at type put in rdr_data or just rdr. cfn0 = rco cfn1 = rco1 cfn2=rco2. You can see what number the cfn's are equal too and program the appropriate rco# in the tn.
For example if cfn1=6 and this is how many times you want the phone to ring before it goes to voicemail than you would go to ld 20 and do a chg than easychange=yes than type rco 1.

Thanks Nortellian, that worked great except I did ld 11 to do chg instead of ld 20.

One issue I saw, I had cfn2=1, but the other 4 cfn (cfn0, cfn1, cfn3, cfn4) were all equal to 4. If I want some phones to ring after 2 rings, I don't have that option. The next question (not as important but still necessary down the road) is how do I change the cfnX number?

Jay2003,
I don't have much in documentation for this system. After I go to ld 15, I am stuck at REQ: prompt. What do I put in there, and how do I modify the CFNs from there?

Thanks.

you need to type CHG. Then carriage return to RDR_DATA and type YES. Then you can change any of the CFNs. For example, change CFN3 to 2. Then change whatever phone's RCO to 2.
