Language Localization Software Tool for 9670G Release 2.0 - available for Microsoft Excel.

The Avaya Language Localization Tool allows you to create a downloadable language file with customer defined display strings for Software Release 1.2 through 3.0.

To download and use the Language Localization Tool:
1.Click on the link.
2.Save the file to your hard drive.
3.Unzip the file using a zip utility such as pkzip.
4.Run the *.xls file
5.Enable Excel macros
6.Define language name, font set and input method
7.Type in your translated strings
8.Click on the button
9.Copy the language file (mlf_xxxx.txt) from the wizard directory to the outbound file directory of your fileserver (HTTP or TLS)
10.In your 46xxsettings.txt file, adjust the language settings to use this new custom language file. See the Avaya one-X Deskphone Edition for 9600 Series IP Telephones Administrator Guide available on this site in the Documentation section for more instructions on setting languages.
