I have been asked to assist in a re-ip of a remote S8400, Intuity LX, there is a VAL board, and supposedly the documentation says there is a G450.

However when I go to Media Gateways > Configuration is says
No G350s, or G700s are currently available

When I go to Server Configuration > Configure Server > Individual Service > Configure Interfaces

Integrated Messaging has no IP Address.. But I was given an IP for the Intuity LX and can connect to it remotely.

So my question is, how can I go about remotely figuring out what gateway, and where can I change the VM IP if not under configure interfaces? This one has me a bit confused. Any assistance on re-iping the S8400, G450(?), Val Board, and Intuity LX.

I will have a POTS line to dial in once I change the S8400 IP to connect to the gateway should I need to.

Thanks,

update:

There is no gateway, stand alone S8400, Intuity LX, Val Board

So, it should be pretty straight forward right?

Login to Voice mail, change IP, login to S8400 Change IP, move PBX to new VLAN reboot. ASA in with new IP address Change VAL board IP address and I should be good to go, correct?

Possibly need to busyout the Intuity signal group?

Communication Manager software version?

Are you using IA770 or CMM messing on the s8400 or a separate box for Intuity?

You should be able to remote into the s8400 over USB modem and change server configuration and IP addresses with a browser.
You can do this on s8400 and s8500 because the ras modem connection is to the MPC / SAMP. While connected this way, you can configure ip addresses and reboot the server.
