Hi Guys

I'm very new to Cisco PIX firewalls and need some advice.

I would like to change the IP address of my Inside Interface from example 10.100.1.253 to 10.100.1.248. What would I have to do change the interface IP and would their be any dependacies within the PIX for the Inside IP address. I'm really looking for some helpful commands to fix this... Please help

Thanks

B

first off get rid of your old ip:
no ip address inside 192.168.0.254(<--ur ip) 255.255.255.0
then:
ip address inside 192.168.0.254(<--new ip) 255.255.255.0

as far dependancies, is this inside interface being used for a gateway? If so you will have to change the gateway ip for whatever pc is using it.
