Change icon on taskbar

Hi,
while i work, i download audio-game with shareaza or imesh etc.
When one program is start, in right on my taskbar, i view the icon.
Is not possible change icon or disable that?

Unfortunately, if the program has a system tray icon, and it wants to keep it, there is no way of disabling it.
However, look in the program settings to see if there is an option 'Show System Tray Icon' or something like it.
