I have a Nortel system and I am trying to remember the change sequence so I can change the numbers in the system.

I currently have:

DCNO 0
IDGT CDGT
1600 2400

I want:

DCNO 0
IDGT CDGT
1600 6200

I was walked through making a change a while back from a Nortel guy and I am trying to remember what we did, can someone help?

the sequence went something like this, please tell me if I am wrong, I will need to know EXACTLY what to do, any help is appreciated:

Change to CAPS
Login:
USER

PASS:
XXXXXX

REQ:
CHG

TYPE:
IDC

CUST:
0

Not sure what the prompt was here:
DC0

Not sure what I saw here:
1600

1600 6200

<shift> ****
LOGO

Does that all look correct with the prompts I will se as well?

I am in the process of doing this too. I have the block of 9100 and want to convert it to 6100. So there are 100 numbers. Can I do it as the whole block or do i need to convert the did one by one?

I would get new range of numbers if I could, ask the phone company if they have a better range that your not using.

LD 20
REQ PRT
TYPE LUDN

this will list all the number you have available to use.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
