Hello,
We have a new BCM400 and used to have Centrex. Users know to call 2703 or 424-2703 for support.
We have calls ringing in properly if 9,424-2703 is dialed but need to change the DEFAULT numbering plan (DN)for Hunt Groups.
Does anyone know if the default Hunt Group number can be changed from 2540 to 2703 or any other number?
Thanks,
Duane

Yes, you can change a Hunt group DN, I have had to do that a few time when we had a conflict

You can guess my next question.... how?
I have looked everywhere in the documetation and inside the BCM Element Manager. Nothing i have found to change the 2540 to anther number.
There should be a flexible numbering plan but can not locate it.

Double click on the DN and enter in a new one. You can do that for sets as well.

Double Click on the DN will not allow change. Any other thoughts?
Thanks!

It sounds as if you have the Windows platform. From the Unified Manager front screen, select Wizards, and there is an option in there for DN Renumber wizard

Sorry, I did not read your thread correctly, does it let you highlight the DN of the HG you wish to change. If so, when you enter the new number does it come back with an error like Invalid DN etc

Do you have full admin rights on the BCM or are your credentials limited access?

I log on as nnadmin with full rights. When i double click on the DN nothing happens.

Hunt Groups
Doubleclick on the HG01 - DN
Box opens up
Distinct rings in use
Hunt Group Members - I can add Members but can not change the DN

Numbering Plan - General - DN - OLD - NEW

I found out how to do it and it works. Users do not have to be reprogrammed for a differnet number .

Thanks
