I am not familiar with the G350 media gateway but I do have access to it via telnet. Is there a wayto configure the mm711 board from the telnet CLI? I don't really see any telephone options.

modify the trunk group, it's not done in the gateway, but in CM, page 1, "Trunk Type", chage it from "ground-start" to "loop-start"

Thanks Mitch but now I have new questions. How do I access the CM page? Web, Telnet, SSH? Is there a way to tell what the address is to the CM page in the G350?

CM = Communication Manager, this is where you do your programming... Has nothing to do with the G350 gateway... it would depend on what the processor is, it could be an S8300X, S85XX, or an S87XX. There is an application called "ASA" which is usually used to manage the programming, it connectes typically via IP using port 5023 TCP on a newer switch. You need to find out the IP address of your switch, or get some help woth that.
