Change Greeting & Names

How can I change the greeting on my system? I saw several threads on this but havent had much sucess. Also, once I get into that how do I change the names that can be dialed by name in the auto attendant? (ie: first 3 characters of the last name)

Thanks, I had already read that thread but couldnt get it to work remotely? Thought I might be doing something wrong.

The dial by name spelling can be changed from the individual's mailbox.

From the main menu, they need to enter Setup Options (when prompted)

Then enter Personal Options

The system will ask if you would like to change your spelled name. Press 1 for yes, then follow the prompts to change the spelled name.

BTW, do you have softkey access and if so, are you a System Manager (you would see MORE as the last softkey on the right and then if you press MORE, you would see MGR on the second softkey on the left)?

Only someone designated as a System Manager can change the system Greetings on a NEAXMail/Elitemail.

Yes, I went through the screens and found all the options. I was able to change the system greeting. Thanks again for the help. I also corrected the system time for VM while I was there. It was off by 20 minutes from the PBX.
