Hi to all;

Our Exchange admin is quitting today and management is throwing this responsibility to the Help Desk until a new admin can be found. My question is how to change the Exchange 2003 service account password without bringing Exchange to it's knees. Thanks for any and all help in advance.

There is no exchange 2003 service account password. 2003 runs under local system. If youre talking about the account used to install exchange, you can just change that password in Active Directory. If its clustered, you can change the password on the properties of the service it runs under in control panel/administrative tools/services.
