Hi,

Whow can I chnge the index order of a option box in Excel to start at 0 (zero).

Ex:
I have 3 options box on a sheet, and they ave the values 1,2,3, but I what them to have the value 0,1,2

Thanks

Hi,

Just use a formula on the cell link in another cell
[tt]
=YourCellLink-1

And theirs a whay to do by actualy changing the index of the option button?

You have a Cell Link in which you get 1, 2 or 3.

In another cell enter the formula, referencing the Cell Link in order to get 0, 1 or 2.

BTW, what is the reason for wanting 0, 1, 2 rather than 1, 2, 3?

because I have lots of lines with 3 options box's and the I need to make the avg of the index chousen by the user.

You coud get an average of all your options even if the values were 7, 8, 9. or -1, 0, 1.

I don't get the requirement.

I need to get the 0,1,2,3 because, I don´t what do include the 0 in the avg but stitll include the option button 0 on the option group.
