Does anyone know how to change the default IE pages:
Page not found
Navigation cancelled

I build systems for customers and would love to be able to customize the default error pages and be able to brand them with my logo, provide useful information, and helpful links.

I'm probably asking the impossible, but if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Best regards,

Blyx

Blyx:

Those pages are loaded from DLLs by the resource protocol. You can however redirect to a different message by changing the registry entries. Create your htm page and place it on the C drive (or wherever) Start regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AboutURLs. Click on the one you want to change such as 'NavigationCanceled' and change the data to point to the full path of your page such as 'C://MyPage.htm'

Beentheredonethat,

Thanks for the response. Yours is the first I've had to this question that I've posted on several other forums. I've not had the time to try it, but will let you know how well it works. I appreciate your taking the time to help me out.

Best regards,

Blyx
