If I invite someone to a meeting can they change the date of the meeting in their own calendar without myself or the other participants being aware of that change?

i.e. their own calendar will show the meeting on a different day to the original scheduled by myself.

We are examining the differences between groupwise and outlook where you can do this.
Thanks

Hello Robert,

I tested around a bit. It is not possible for a recepient of a group appointment (and I guess for all other group items, too) to change the date and time of the message. However, the recipient can change the appointment to a posted one and change the date then. The sender of the appointment gets an message that the recipient declined the appointment.

I hope this helps you in your examination.

Peter

The "owner" of the appoinment can certainly change the date of the appointment or meeting. The "receiver" can only accept or decline.

Easier way to change the time/date of the appointmnet is to click on it and DRAG it to the new location. GW will them send a new notice out to those concerned.
