change database name

Hello,
I had a test environment for SharePoint set up which used SQL Server as a backend.
My dba recently had to rename the SQL Server. I cannot use that SharePoint anymore because it cannot find the configuration database. Is there a way that I can change it to look to the new database name?

Isn't that done using the wizard when you initially connect to a database? I think you can use that to reconnect to the renamed database. I don't recall doing that myself.
