change cursor

I want to change the cursor on a hyperlink. I have tried

A:link{cursor: hand}

in my .CSS and it does not seem to work. Any suggestions? Thanks

Surely the cursor should change to a hand anyway on a hyperlink?

hmm... i have found that netscape wont always give me the hand cursor when i am linking without an a href....sometimes it helps if i place a pound sign in the a href tag and then netscape will give it to me..
