Change color and preserve anti-alias howto? 1

Hi,

Can anyone advise me how to change the colour of a layer and retain the anti-alias? When I select the layer, I'm checking 'anti-alias' and I'm setting the paintpot tolerance to 30-40%, but the resultant color change still has ragged edges. My before and after images are at...

Woah. It's only two shapes. I'd just redraw it in the colour you want, if I was you.

I have actually solved the problem in that way, but the underlying question is still valid - it's actually a number of shapes which are quite time consuming to replicate in different colours for a client who can't make up their mind.

Not quite - but if the 'Preserve transparency' box is checked as well, it works a treat!
