Can anyone supply a procedure for changing the data storage collection on CMS to monitor more VDN's.

Do you have to go into single user mode on version 9 or above ? if so how is this achieved.

How do you stop and start the data collection ?

Do you, change the data storage table to monitor more VDNs, or is there more changes required ?

1. Turn Data Collection OFF
* CMS System Setup
* Select DATA COLLECTION – select your ACD and change setting to OFF.

2. Change CMS to Single User Mode
* CMS System Setup
* Select CMS STATE – select your ACD and change setting to SINGLE USER MODE.

3. Make your changes
* CMS System Setup
* Data Storage Allocation

4. Turn Data Collection ON
* CMS System Setup
* Select DATA COLLECTION – select your ACD and change setting to ON.

5. Change CMS back to Multi-User Mode
* CMS System Setup
* Select CMS STATE – select your ACD and change setting to MULTI-USER MODE.

Make your changes during off-hours, if possible. When Data Collection is OFF, you're not collecting data (of course) so the information for that period of time is incomplete. If I need to make changes to this (I try not to), I will start about 5-10 minutes before the interval ends, so we lose as little as possible. The changes cannot be scripted or scheduled.
