We have a main site and a one LIM remote site. Recently have changed the remote CIL from modem to ethernet via Tracker 2700. Now would like to change main site from serial to ethernet. Would be very grateful for advice about IO and CIL commands and anything else to bear in mind.

Thanks

I don't know if this is any help, but the complete procedure is detailed in ALEX. Just search for CIL and the first result will be titled CIL over Ethernet.
In a nutshell:

Key command CLTGE to end CIL traffic generation.
Key command CLODE to end CIL output data.
Key command CLOHE to end CIL output header.

Key command IOBPI to initiate the NIU/NIU2 board.
Key command IOEQI to initiate an Ethernet port on the NIU/NIU2 board for the CIL output.
Key command IONCI to initiate an Ethernet connection with CIL as the client.
Key command IONCP to verify the result.
Key command CLDFI to affiliate the Ethernet port with the CIL output file. For more details, see command description for CALL INFORMATION LOGGING , CL.
Key command CLOHI to affiliate the CIL output file to call information logging.
Key command CLODI to initiate the call criteria for the CIL output file.
Key command CLTGI to activate the CIL function.

Hope this helps!
