Sorry, new at this and I'm wanting to verify steps I need to do. Mostly monkey see, monkey do has worked so far, but I wanted to see if there was a 'better'(easier) way to accomplish this.

The user would like to take a cdn that is working, but only accessible internally - the cdn is not a number that can be dialed from the outside, and make it a published number that the public can dial.

The cdn/acd is:

I will need to change the cdn (61905) to a DID number (12345) and make the corresponding change in Symposium in the \Configuration\CDN area as well as in \Scripting - Master Script, correct? What would be the proper steps: unacquire the cdn, change/delete and readd the cdn to the new number and reacquire?

Is there anyway I can test this, and not affect production, without having to create a whole new test cdn, acd, script, etc. Is there a way to just point the new DID/external number to the CDN itself?

Best Regards,
Doug

How about getting a toll free or an existing DID and having the local telco send it in with a DNIS the same as you already have for the CDN?

you can point the DID to the existing CDN in ld 49. I would build the new did cdn and acquire it, add to master - point to correct script, then scrap the old cdn.

Thanks for the assistance.

I did the new cdn, acquired it, etc and it works just like it should.

Thanks again,

Best Regards,
Doug
