change annoucements from outside of the office? 1

I am trying to figure out how to record an annoucement (inclement weather/delayed opening) from home. I know I need access with console authority. I am trying to avoid requiring softphone and EC500. Basically I would like to find a command in vectoring that would place the call into console mode. Of course I would need to protest it with a password.
